שמו של הרב יאיר כלב הפך כבר מזמן לשם נרדף לספר התניא. לפני כ-30 שנה החל הרב כלב להעביר את שיעור התניא הראשון שלו בפני קומץ משתתפים בעיר חולון. ומאז, ברבות השנים, צמחה פעילותו לכדי מפעל גדול מימדים של מערך שיעורי תניא המתקיימים על ידו באופן קבוע באינספור נקודות בארץ ובעולם. רבבות יהודים, גברים ונשים, נחשפו במהלך השנים לתכנים של ספר התניא בזכות פעילותיו של הרב כלב!
מידי יום ביומו, מתקיים שיעור תניא בערים שונות ברחבי הארץ, ואחת לתקופה נוסע הרב כלב למסע הכולל סבב הופעות בן כמה שבועות במדינות אירופה ,אמריקה ,אוסטרליה ובמזרח הרחוק. ייחודיותו של הרב כלב היא בהלבשת תכנים שמימיים אלו ,במושגים פשוטים הנהירים לכל אדם מן הישוב. כל זאת באווירה המקנה אחדות המאפשרת לכולם להיות שותפים לרעיונות שבספר התניא ולהקבלתם לתהליכים הנפשיים המתנהלים בקרבנו.

סדרת – "עצם הנשמה":
עם השנים נסקה פעילותו של הרב כלב לגבהים חדשים, כאשר החל להנחיל לכלל ישראל, ולמאזיני שיעוריו בפרט, את מורשת ניגוני חב''ד העתיקים. אלו הם ניגונים "ממולאים" בתוכן פנימי ו"מכוונים" לתדרים רוחניים דקים,שחוברו מתוך הגות ועמקות המחשבה ע"י אדמו"רי חב''ד וגדולי החסידים ענקי הרוח במהלך הדורות.
הניגונים הם אפוא צורת הבעה מוזיקלית המבטאת תנועות ותנודות מעולם הרגש, הנולדות מן ההתבוננות בתורת חב''ד העיונית.צלילים אלו של עמקות המחשבה והחקירה השכלית, סגולה להם לעורר ולגלות את פשטותה של עצם הנשמה.
סדרת ניגוני חב''ד המנוגנים ע''י הרב כלב, שהוקלטה בתקליטורים המופצים ברבים, קנתה לה שם עולמי. כך, שאנשים מכל שכבות העם: חסידים, ליטאים ,ספרדים, מסורתיים ושאינם דתיים, מוצאים מכנה משותף בניגונים אלו, המשרים אווירה של קדושה ותחושה של 'מרחב עצמי' שמצד העצם שבתוככי כל אחד ואחת מישראל.
לא בכדי קרויה סדרת ניגונים זאת "עצם הנשמה".

התרחבות והתבססות
פעילותו של הרב כלב התרחבה והתבססה עם הזמן, והיא כוללת: סדנאות, שיעורים ,הרצאות, שבתונים, ערבי פורים, ל''ג בעומר וכדומה. בכולם שזורה גישתו החמימה ומאירת הפנים של הרב כלב, אשר באופן פלאי פותח את לבבות השומעים לתכנים של מחשבה ועומק חסידותי באומר ובצליל.הרואה מן הצד יעמוד משתאה נוכח הבקיאות שמפגינים משתתפי השיעורים, גם אלה שמצד חזותם לא היית מצפה שיכספו וידעו לבקש לשמוע את ניגונו של "ר' אהרון מסטראשעלע", "האחים חריטונוב" או "ר' פסח ממלסטובקה".....

הרב כלב נולד במשפחה שלא שמרה [[תורה]] ו[[מצוות]] ו[[חזר בתשובה]] על ידי הרב [[מאיר בליז'ינסקי]]. מאז הפך ל[[חסיד]] [[חב"ד]].
בשנת [[תש"נ]]שידור חי לצד אותם הזוכים להיות נוכחים בשיעורי הרב כלב באופן פיזי, החל ישנם יחידים ואף ציבורים בכל רחבי תבל המתכנסים אחת לשבוע לשם צפייה בהקרנת שידור חי משיעורו של הרב כלב למסור שיעור בספר תניא ב[[חולון]] ומאז התרחבה מעגל השיעורים וכיום הוא מרצה בערים רבות בארץ ואף בעולםבתל אביב, מידי יום רביעי. וכך, באופן וירטואלי, יושבים הם ומקשיבים ממרחקים... בנוסף לכךכמו במוסקבה ,טורונטו, יוסטון, לוס אנג'לס, בואנוס איירס, כוללת פעילותו ומדינות נוספות. והתגובות הנלהבות שזורמות ללא הרף – מחממות את הלב! * * *מגזין שבועי ממשק החסידות הזה חולש גם: סדנאות, שבתוניםעל המדיה הכתובה. לקראת שבת, ערבי [[פורים]]כעיתון סוף שבוע, [[ליוצא לאור ע"ג בעומר]] ועוד. מידי יום מוסר י הרב כלב מגזין שבועי ובו סקירה, בנגלה ובחסידות, אודות פרשת השבוע, מועדים וימים מיוחדים העומדים על הפרק, זמני כניסת ויציאת השבת וכו' * * *שיעור יומי ברדיו 7:45 היא שעת השיא בהאזנה לרדיו "קול ברמה" (נמסר . בשעה 7:45 בבוקר) ובמוצאי זו, בה ישובים המוני בית ישראל ברכבם ובאוטובוסים בדרכם ליום עבודה חדש, מוסר הרב כלב שיעור ברדיו. השיעור הינו 'זריקת תניא יומית' הממלאה את המצברים הרוחניים של המאזינים למשך היום כולו. בכל מוצאי שבת (מסכם הרב בשעה 20:45את החומר שנלמד במהלך השבוע החולף.* * *כתיבת הספר החזון, המטרה וה"אני מאמין" שעומד כל העת לנגד עיני הרב כלב הוא להפיץ ברבים את 'סדנת כל הסדנאות', הוא ספר התניא (תמצית כל תורת החסידות) הוא מסכם . להביאו לכדי הבנה בכלי ההשגה של הישראלי המצוי. ספר התניא הקדוש תורגם אמנם לשפות רבות, אך בולט למדי חסרון תרגומו לשפה הישראלית העכשווית, אותה מדבר הרב בשיעוריו והרצאותיו הרבות. על כן, בין מגוון מפעליו וסדר יומו הצפוף, שוקד הרב כלב על כתיבת ספר, בו מרוכזות נקודות היסוד שבכל פרק מפרקי התניא הקדוש, לפי סדר מהלך הענינים שבו. ספר זה, הכתוב ברוח ובסגנון שעורי הרב כלב, הינו בשורה בפני עצמה וכאוויר לנשימה לרחוב הישראלי בתקופתנו רבת התהפוכות..* * *ערב שכולו ניגונים לאחרונה החל שיתוף פעולה ראשון מסוגו בין הרב יאיר כלב לבין מוסיקאים בעלי יכולות מוסיקליות גבוהות במיוחד ,חברי להקת "א גרוייסע מציאה" אשר לה מוסיקה מקורית וייחודית להפליא.הרב כלב עם הרכב מיוחד זה שאליו צורפו עוד נגנים, הפיק ערב שכולו ניגונים בהופעה רבת משתתפים בלב ליבה של החילוניות הארצישראלית במרכז תל אביב .בערב הניגונים הזה נכח קהל מכל שכבות הציבור. הקהל המשולהב, שהתקבץ מכל קצווי הארץ, הצטרף לשירה בהתלהבות עצומה וניכר היה שרבים מכירים היטב כל תו ותג מהניגונים. גם ה'פנים החדשות', שטרם הכירו את הנלמד בשבוע העברהניגונים, נסחפו נרגשים לנוכח מפגן האחדות המוזיקלי הזה אשר כמוהו לא נראה מעולם.* * *
הרצאותיו ערוץ וידאו – בלוג שבועי מצולם בחודשים האחרונים נפתח ערוץ וידאו של הרב כלב מתייחדות בקטעיבאתר השיתוף הבינלאומי – 'יו טיוב'. הערוץ מעוצב באופן חדשני והוא כולל בין השאר גם טעימות מההופעה הנ''ל לצד נקודות באומר ובצליל משיעורים שונים. גולת הכותרת של ערוץ הוידאו הוא הבלוג השבועי המצולם של הרב כלב העולה אחת לשבוע, בו צופים אלפי אנשים שמספרם גדל בקצב גובר והולך.* * * האתר מזה שנים, קיים אתר רשמי כמוקד לפעילותו של הרב כלב תחת הכתובת "תניא אור". באתר כמאה חמישים שיעורים מצולמים, פרטים שונים אודות פעולות הרב, חדשות, ולוח שיעורים מעודכן לתועלת הגולשים, ועוד. * * *פייסבוק עדכונים ,קישורים ושמירת קשר רציף עם רשימת התפוצה מתבצעת במייל ובפייסבוק, בו חברים אלפי אנשים.לסיכום: רצון פנימי, אמונה עמוקה בתכנים ותחושת שליחות, מניעים את הרב יאיר כלב וקומץ מתנדבים בעלי כישורים ותעצומות נפש להתמסר להפצת המעיינות במפעל חיים של הדלקת אור. בדבקות במטרה ובעקביות אין קץ ניתן להמשיך 'אוויר טוב' כי מעט אור מגרש הרבה מהחושך. Around 30 years ago Rabbi Calev started to teach his first lessons in Tanya to a small group of participants in the city of Holon, Israel. These are melodies which are infused with inner meaning and tuned to delicate spiritual frequencies which were composed after deep and subtle spiritual reflection by the Rebbis and other great spiritual chassids of Chabad throughout the generations.They are therefore an expression of a musical style that is infused with great emotion which is brought about after deep meditation on Chabad Torah concepts. The lesson is a “daily shot of Tanya” that fills the spiritual batteries of its listeners for the whole day. Every Saturday night at 8:45 P.M. the Rabbi gives a summation of all the material learned during the past week.* * *Writing the Book The vision, the goal, the “I believe” that stands all the time in the eyes of Rabbi Calev is to maximize the public distribution of “the workshop of all workshops”, the Holy Book called “The Tanya” (דיסקthe essence of all Chassidic Judaism)|עצם הנשמה]].
