שניאור הסופר נולד ב[[מלבורן]] שב[[אוסטרליה]] ב[[י' תמוז]] [[תשמ"ב]], להוריו, הרב [[ברוך מרדכי הסופר]] ואמו מרת דבורה.

כבר בהיותו בגיל צעיר גילה כישרון מוזיקלי, (אותו ירש מאימו, זמרת נשים מבוקשת באוסטרליה), ובגיל 9 כבר סייע לאמו בהוצאת התקליטים, וביצע הקלטות באולפן.

בשנת [[תשנ"ו]] נסע ללמוד בישיבת [[חסידי חב"ד ליובאוויטש צפת|חסידי חב"ד ליובאוויטש]] ב[[צפת]], אך לא הסתדר עם נהליה, ועזב את הישיבה. לאחר מספר חודשים הפסיק את לימודיו בישיבה, ובהמשך - התגייס ל[[צה"ל]] והשתתף במבצע 'חומת מגן'.

עם סיום שירותו ב[[צה"ל|צבא]] חזר לעסוק במוזיקה וגרף רווחים רבים, אך תקופה מוצלחת זו ארכה זמן קצר בלבד, והוא חווה נפילה כלכלית קשה, והחליט לחזור למסגרת ישיבתית.
 
הוא נסע ל[[קראון הייטס]], שם נכנס ללמוד בישיבת [[הדר התורה]], ובמהלך הלימודים בישיבה החל את הקריירה המוזיקלית שלו ברוח של תורה ויהדות.
 
את עבודתו המקצועית הוא מקדיש למסרים הקשורים ל[[אחדות]], [[אהבת ישראל]] ו[[גאולה]], ומשתדל להביא את המסרים של [[הרבי]] לאנשים עמם הוא בא במגע, ולקרב אותם ללימוד תורה ולשמירת מצוות.
